Hi ya Luc, what your opinion on the TRD struts? I know you mentioned they're very stiff, so I guess if I want some comfort but a bit stiffer than stock I should get Tokico? I don't want to spend the $$ then find out if not for me. Thanks

I really like them, despite being stiff, though sometimes I wish my Gen4 was a bit heavier. When I go over uneven roads, I can literally "feel" the car, and on a cold day, even the panels a bit, and this is running on stock 15"ers, imagine if I had 17"ers. You can see that the diameter of the Bilstein strut is about twice the size of the OEM, which goes the same for the Tokico. But for the price, it's great, and almost 1/2 off of list. I paid that much about 1.5 years ago, and it was USED. All in all, it's up to personal liking, and I do like them much, and don't mind the stiffness, as my taste is geared towards performance, rather than comfort.

hi Luc,

You are abs right !!

My cousin got these struts about 6 months back & he said the same thing that they are for performance & are right up the mark.

He paid $1275 for them

& now he helped me & so many other camry owners to get them at cheaper
not cheaper but around 50% off .

I thank him for his efforts.

I have TRD JSpec struts with 40k miles on them for $200 + s/h. These are blue, a bit stiffer than Bilsteins, and the shaft is the same size as stock, so they fit ground controls.
