Question Solara 2005 problem with window switch three times

Hello everyone,

I have problem in my solara 2005 covertible . I changed the switch 3 times and each times cost me 160 $. Each time, I found the same problem for the switch on the mother board. Add, the problem with window switch for the driver side.

I hope someone helping me to solve the problem. Add, I went to Toyota company and they told me to change the switch only

What exactly is the problem you've been having with the switch? If Toyota changed it three times, charging you for the same job three times, then they are taking advantage of you. If they diagnosed that the switch was bad and changed it, and then the same thing happened again, they should not have just changed the switch again and again, charging you each time without really finding the reason the switches went bad. I have over 126,000 miles on my 05 Solara and have not had a single problem with a window switch. I suggest you get a full explanation of the problem and a refund of some, if not all, of the charges.

I recently replaced my 2005 Solara's Covertible battery because the car didn't start. Now it starts and runs fine; however, all of the "automatic" functions like the one-touch window down/up button and the sun roof don't work. The window and sun roof open and close if I hold down the buttons, but they don't seem to be "one touch" like before. Morever, I had problem with driver side switch and that it made the driver side switch does not work. I found out the window switch burn. I had changed it three times until now. Any ideas to how fix this?
