New owner with a few questions

I just purchased a 2001 SLE V6 convertible. I have a question about the headlights. At night ,once the car is started it takes about 30 seconds for the headlights to turn on automatically, regardless if in gear or not. DRLs are on immediately but I have to wait for the headlights, tails etc to come on. Is this normal? If not normal what could be wrong? I know I can manually turn the stalk to turn them on.

Second question, the sub behind the seat always buzzes, sounds like it was blown. I disconnected it for the time being. Does anyone know the part number/cost of this part?

thats normal for the lites, it takes 20-30 seconds to come on, & i dont know the part #, talk to trd4life he should know..........

Thanks for the reply, at least I know its normal. although it does not make sense that it is set up that way!
