Actually I think the Solara and Camry have the same kind of power... Except the Solara is rated for the use of 91+ octane gas hence the 200hp rating (if you meant the 1st gen Solara with the 3.0L 1MZ-FE) whereas the Camry is rated on 87 octane, hence the 192hp rating.

Solara can run on 87 without any problem and you would get that very theoretical 192hp...

Well, I know they changed the knock sensor on the 3MZ-FE (2nd gen Solara) because the one they used in earlier models would tend to be over-sensitive, especially with the use of 87 octane gas, leading to loss of power (more than should be considered normal)
