Exclamation Left rear seat wont fold down, replace speakers?

Hello! I have a 2001 Toyota Solara SLE V6. I'm looking to replace the rear deck speakers, but unfortunately the left (smaller side) of the rear seat won't fold down (I pull up on the lock and it wont fold down like the other one). Of course I have checked the switch on the back, it wont fold down for either setting. This side used to fold down, but something must have broke.

My question is, how can I replace the rear speakers now? Will the deck still come out with that side open? (The center screw for the deck is accessible from the right side folded down).

If that doesnt work, is there any possible way I can fix the lock?

Thank you!

check if there is something accessible through the trunk to maybe manually release it. Other then that I don't know cause I think the back panels folds behind the seats and is either snapped or bolted in. I'd imagine not quite sure though.
