Power steering return hose

2004 Solara 3.3

Is it a fairly easy DIY to replace a leaking power steering return hose? In addition, what would I find to have it done by a mechanic, parts and labor wise? Thanks.

I am attaching a link to an illustration for the hoses. The return hose comes in two sections, but the pressure hose is the one that usually goes bad. If you let me know which hose you need, I can get you a parts price.

I am a sponsored Vendor and I do sell Genuine OEM Toyota Parts to TN members for 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus $1.00 - $2.00 for materials, etc.

Hope it helps you out

Which part is the return hose, 44348 or 44406? What is the price for both?
Thanks.

in the illustration, the 44406 and the 44416 are the return hose. the 44348 is a hose from the reservoir to the pump and the 44411 is the pressur hose. The 44411 is the one that generally goes bad, but I am not looking at your car to determine which one is leaking.

Here is a break down on the hoses for you:
44406-06100 MSRP $84.51 TN member $59.16
44416-06100 MSRP $84.51 TN member $59.16
44348-06180 MSRP $76.91 TN member $53.84
44411-06081 MSPR $323.86 TN member $226.70
44327-30030 MSRP $2.63 TN member $2.63 - goes with the 44411 hose.

If you need any further assistance, don't hesitate to contact me.
