Just bought an 04 Solara

Hello all, we just bought an 04 Solara convertable w/ the V-6 at 114,000 miles.
Look foward to learning & enjoying about our new toyota here on this forum.

Queation: Is there anyway to remove the rear seat head rests?
The rear visibility is awful.
Also anything I should check on at 114,000 miles for this year solara?
And finally,Anyone have access to a free service manual?

Thanx all.

Don't know of any free service manuals, but the rear seat headrests are part of the rollover protection, so you definitely don't want to remove them. Visibility is limited, but you get used to it after awhile. Having the top down really helps! We also put those little stick-on mirrors on the side mirrors to help with the blind spots.

Rear headrests aren't removable - one of the reasons I bought the coupe. Rear seat doesn't fold down either, but the top does! Enjoy your new ride. Hy
