2004 Solara

Hello all. I just traded in my 01 camry with 115K for a 04 solara with every option except the gold package with only 38K on it. What a difference. The Solara is so much quieter and rides so much nicer.

Cheers!

Congratulations. Enjoy your ride. My 05 Solara has almost 131k miles on it. It has been a safe, reliable, and fun car to drive. I'm sure yours will be also. Hy

I vaugely remember checking the federal and insurance company results years ago. i don't remember exact numbers, but I know the Solara was rated as safe. It is, after all, a two-door Camry. I've never felt unsafe in it, though there were times I wished I had faster accelleration. Unfortunately, there are no tuner mods available for the 3FE-MZ engine; I've searched. Enjoy your car; it's a sharp-looking, comfortable, reliable, and safe ride. Hy

Congratulations on your 04

We too have an 04 convertible with about 140k on it. A great and fun car! I had the timing belt changed (a very good thing) and got the satellite radio working. We also had to re-staple the rear of the rag top and make a new trunk floor. Lots of work but worth it.

Regards, DFR
