1999 solara radio removal

New Calif. guy here...trying to get the wife hands free phone and mp3's without disturbing the JBL factory system which does not have aux input. How hard is it to get the radio out of the dash.
Thanks in advance

to Toyota Nation! I'll move your introduction over to the Solara forum so the members there can hopefully provide you with an answer.

Pull the cover trim off. There are a series of clips that require something akin to popping them. Use your fingers to pry up the trim. DON'T use a screw driver or anything harder than the plastic or you will mar the plastic (sometimes a credit card works to leverage the trim to get your fingers in).
