2000 Solara oxygen sensor

Hi
I own a 2000 Solara V6 SLE Automatic Transmission. Recently my check engine light came on with a code P0135, and the repair shop replaced the oxygen sensor bank1 sensor1 with a Bosch 13355. The light went away, but as i researched on the web, the sensor 13355 should only can be used for the same car with a manual transmission only. I did not see any problem driving the car now( a week and around 300 miles). Should I be worry about the wrong sensor?. Thank you

The only difference would be fed spec and cali spec sensors. Manual vs auto doesn't make any difference between o2 sensors

M/Ts all used O2 sensors, CA or not. Makes things difficult.

But, a P0135 code means you have a Federal ECU, which uses O2 sensors. If you had a P1135 code, you'd need a wideband O2 sensor (Air-Fuel Ratio sensor) for a CA spec ECU. The connectors are different between the two, so using the wrong sensor is pretty much impossible.

You're okay, though I wouldn't necessarily recommend using Bosch O2 sensors.

Thank you for helping me about the sensor... I was confused because the sensor 13355 was listed for manual one. They should be more clear. Anyway, my mechanic already put the Bosch in, and I haven't had ant problems yet. So I will just leave it in for now. I also ordered a Denso sensor already. Thanks for your help.
