I recently found a TDR cat back exhaust system for a V6 99-2002 solara. My question is since there wasnt alot changed on the cars over the years should I be able to modify this easyly to fit a 2008 V6 solara?

You didn't find a TRD cat back..you found an axle-back. And the 08 is a completely different generation. It won't fit, however, there is an axle-back available, but good luck finding one. If it was a cat-back that you found, it wasn't TRD

Take it to an exhaust shop, they'll make it fit. Really, it's just some pipes. They'll cut off the muffler of the 'trd catback' you bought, remove your stock catback, add in proper piping, attach trd muffler, and you're done.
