Shuts off for no reason

So I have a 99 SE v6 5spd. and for some reason I will be driving down the road and turning a corner the car will turn off and on and sometimes it will turn off in the middle of the road while its still rolling and I have to get it on the suicide lane. I smelled brakes as well. I would have to wait a min or so to try to turn the car back on. It will still try to turn off and while I was driving the tachometer was flickering as well like moving up and down while the car was still moving so I put it into 3rd gear to see if that would stop and it didnt but then the car was trying to turn off and on. I still cant figure out what it is...The ABS light comes on every once in a while but it turned on during that situation. My clock and my radio resets itself as well. I just recently replaced both rear speed senors and that kind of help it but not much...because the ABS still comes on for a few secs. and thats it. Would greatly appreciate if someone could help me. i would say to test your alternator, if it is the alternator, its draining your battery right now as we speak, disconnect that mofo!
