Solara ABS Problems

well, just put new 17's on the car and lately the ABS light have been coming on after about 6 or 7 miles... today after driving home for 5 miles the light came home again... i put my finger on the rotor and i got burned.. is it possible the abs is faulty??? owned the car for 2 yrs and haven't had a brake job yet... anyone else have these problems...

Haha never touch the rotor...hehe.

It could be because your tires are a different diameter than the OEM specs. Post your OEM and New Tire specs.

If the outer diameter of the tire the same size as the stock rims? If not what is probably happening is that your wheels are spinning either too fast or too slow and the abs system notices the increase/decrease in rpm and displays a problem because of this. Just an idea....

last time my ABS sensor was on all time because the speed sensor gear was stripped. and recently one lady told me her ABS light on because the brake pad moist problem due to humidity in Golf coast area.

You should take it to a dealership to see what's wrong.
