'07 Solara conv. - water seeping in
Noticed that after two rain showers that water has seeped into the car by the side view mirrors, both the drivers and passengers side. Took it to the dealership and they say I need new seals, but are not covered under the extended warranty. "gaskets and seals". It would cost about $500 to repair. Yet, strangely enough, after my trip to the dealership, the passenger side has not been wet and we have had two rain showers since. Only the drivers side is pretty wet and I noticed that the seal has separated away from the conv. top area. The passenger side seam is firmly attached. Is there something that I can do to fix the seal on the drivers side, like glue it back in place?
Any input would be appreciated.
