Help finding correct part number

Hello everyone

I have a 2001 Solara V6 SE automatic california spec. Got the infamous P1135. Followed instructions on the manual about checking ECU voltage behind the glove compartment, which pointed to the O2 sensors. The manual said to check bank 1 sensor 1 and I did, resistance value at 68 degrees was Open/out of limits. I did the same check with bank 2 sensor 1 and got 1.1-1.2 resistance. That confirmed a bad 02 sensor. Now I want to find the correct part number and I would like to find the OEM part and then cross referance that to find a denso sensor. I searched but could not find the OEM part number. any help would be greatly appreciated.

89467-41030 is bank 1 sensor 1 on a Calif spec vehicle with an automatic trans. It is NOT an oxygen sensor, but rather an air fuel ratio sensor. As JimBowNut pointed out, a vin would narrow it down better. Most CA spec cars have air fuel ratio sensors, but again the vin narrows things down much better.

Good luck and let me know.

Update

its been a really long time since i fixed this so i don't have the part number anymore. I had to call the dealer and ask them for the part number. then I found it for cheap on ebay or amazon (cant remember which).

The job was simple but a real pain in the A$$ because there was almost no room to put in the ratchet and the special socket at the same time, i had to get those pivoting small extensions to make it work. I had to use a sissy bar to untighten the sensor, it was practically rusted in. Be advice and bring a small sissy bar about 8 inches long (not longer because it will not fit) and make sure it fits over the ratchet handle.

Has been working for 5K miles and still no sight of the engin light

good luck
