trouble changing the oxygen sensor

Hey guys, I'm trying to change the oxygen sensor that is after the cataylic converter and the harness goes into the car? Do i have to plug the harness from inside the car? Do i have to take off the whole center console or something? Its a 99 v6 mt by the way. Thanks!

I believe you have to remove the drivers seat and unplug it
