Having to replace front passenger brake caliper on 99 (4cyl). Every single one I have purchased has not fit. What is the deal? How can I find the RIGHT part number...???

Where are you looking, after-market, dealer, or used? A few months ago I had to buy a used caliper for my 05. The first one the salvage yard brought out was the wrong one, for a Camry rather than a Solara. The second one was an exact match. Any salvage yard, parts shop, or dealer, should be able to pull up the listing for the correct caliper. I suggest yoiu try a different source than the one you've been using. Hy
