Well that was my opinion based on,

My bros solara (had tokico). So finally he switched to TRD .

He finds it more performance oriented.
Well its based on personal taste & also road conditions. Some struts perform better in certain conditions.

I've seen a handful of 1.6 EL's roaming around So Cal. 95% of them with British Colombia plates. BTW, does your bro have a black or dark blue one with rims?

Flipside,

His is Black with stock rims..It should have Cali plates on, I know it used to have Ontaro ones.

He has told me that he is sometimes asked if he wants to sell it etc.. One could make some money buying used ones in Canada and bringing them to LA!

Mike

Because the 1.6 EL is a Canadian market car, I don't think he could cosidering exporting/selling those here in Cali because 1)It's originally intended for sale in Canada 2) He would be taxed heavily which would not be worth selling the car after all the tariffs. 3) He couldn't legally sell them because they are not CA emissions equipped.

No, no..He was not actually considering this. He sells comodities!

I was just saying that...Since there are quite a few people looking for this model of car in CA, it "may" be a good idea to grab a bunch of them and sell them down there. The only problem with that idea is the lack of time, capital and will power!

And, it probably wouldent be all that profitable.

Business men must always think, right!

A good businessman finds options. Selling 1.6 EL parts to the US would be more profitable than selling the whole car itself. Finally...making use of my Business Econ degree LOL!
