Everything is SUPER when you're...
I should go with Tokico you say...Hmmm..Now could you tell me what the difference between shocks and struts are?
And what would 4 Tokico struts run me??
Thanks for the help! I appreciate it,

There is a difference between struts and shocks. Shocks are merely what they are. Struts are basically shocks...but with a perch for the coil spring...mainly known as a MacPherson Strut setup. If you want a more better explanation, try http://www.howstuffworks.com.
Shock absorbers and struts are quite similar in some ways. They both dampen the bounce of the tire and stabilize the vehicle.

Struts are a structural member of the vehicle. They provide support as well as dampening.
******
Shocks on the other hand can be thought of as an add on. It is possible to drive a car without shocks ( although this would be dangerous on the road ), it is not possible to drive a car without struts because there would be nothing to hold the front end together.
Okay, so...Now..Witch type of Tokico shocks should I get??
And..Should I get both shocks and struts..or just shocks??
All I really want is better, smoother ride quality in my car. (Especially because I will be getting coilovers soon)

Good shocks like Koni or KYB AGX’s’s are adjustable so you can tune your shocks to the springs.
Performance springs with stock shocks usually feel floaty on high speed undulations.
I find that that feels a little spooky. Performance spring’s quicker rebound characteristics also seems to wear out stock shocks quickly making them get super floaty.
I prefer KYB AGX’s because of their easy adjustably (Koni’s require removal from the car to adjust them) and durability.
Tokico’s are inexpensive but don’t last as long. They also seem to have too much compression damping and not enough rebound in my opinion so they are harsh but floaty.

My 2 cents
Your 2 cents...but when did KYB make AGX series of struts for Camrys? KYB GR2's for Gen3's are garbage if you like a "stock-like ride. The Tokicos are a much better performer.
How do you figure Tokicos are harsh but floaty? My Tokicos are a little more forgiving than the TRD/Bilsteins, but handle almost as good in comparison to them. Stock is very floaty, but compared to the Tokicos i've had for a little over a year now...floaty? Never. The TRD/Bilsteins are harsh ones.
My .02.

98Toyozip: What do you mean Tokico don't last as long? What other brands are you comparing it to?
Tokico fits well with mix of daily driving with occasional auto-xing. Whereas I won't really want to drive my cam with Bilstein on everyday. I wouldn't say they're harsh (it really depends what kind of road condition), if it's anything the Bilsteins should be harsh.
Just remember: KYB are only famous for their OEM struts/shocks for lots of cars. Tokico on the other hand consentrate on performance.
