Over the weekend, I was driving back home to ROCHESTER, New York.
On 90west, road infront of me empty, and I see 2 bikes in the rear view... They weave through traffic, slowly past me, and they noticed it was OPEN ROAD ahead. All i heard was "VVroooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmm" Both was out, so I was like, why not, I FLOOR my 5S-FE.
I beated my top-speed (95-98) and did a full hundred. But i was willing to do more and I held down the gas for literally about 5 seconds (Felt long as hell) and the car stayed at 100mph and about 3200 RPM's.... Those bikes just got smaller and smaller and then started weaving through traffic again... They was maybe doing 130... Ha.
All my car did was GUZZLE gas like crazy for those few seconds.~
Lol, i wasn't highway racing, i was "catching up" (Same shit. Lol) I just wanted to see how my car was compared to a bike. Its one of those... "GOtta experience once in ur life" Lke Prom, graduating hs, loosing ur virginity. I'm not gonna do it eva again. Me Promise~

don't know about you guys, but I've broken 100 with my 11 year old 5SFE Camry without any hesitation. I admit, the acceleration clearly is far less than it is at lower speeds, but that comes with the territory. I've done this in a stretch of road that is far less than a mile long.
mine is thats about as fast as ive taken my car but i dont know cause i also havnt tried pushing it further than that i aint tryin to blow another engine

With the fuel cut in place, you shouldn't be able to blow your engine very easily unless you keep it at a constant high rev for a CONSIDERABLE amount of time.
Not suggesting people go out and speed their asses off 24/7 but 100 I believe is around 4-5k rpm's or lower in 4th, which isn't very high, considering the fuel cut is 6k.
