FScKING Car Audio messed up my tint. At the rear where the factory tint meets my new tint there's air trapped between the tiny crevices on the top part of my rear window.

When I complained the technician gives me this BS reply, if you see any other Solara or car with this kinda factory tint it will look like this too. I wish I could take some picks, but no dig cam.

Do you guys know what I'm talking about? The Toyota Solara comes with it's own "factory tint" -you know those litlle progressive black dots in the rear that increasingly gets denser as you get closer to the top. Serves as some kind of tint to partially block of the sun. Yeah, that's the stuff.

My tint man did a good job everywhere else but there, the rear window. Miniscule air rivets all over that part. ARGHRHHH! I'm gonna demand some kind of reinbursement!:x

You have several options, either pick that sh*t off with a razor or cover the top portion of the rear window where it doesn't stick with vinyl, then tint over the vinyl. If I'm not mistaken, RookieSolara (Anybody know where he is anyways?) did that and is satisfied.

Yeppers....you are stuck. Fortunately the guy who installed my tint spent some extra time and attempted to make it as clean as possible. I promise you, after time you won't notice it. Plus look around, a lot of cars are coming w/ the factory "bumps." Better go kiss some ass

Yup, you better go apologize...
Mine is the same thing.. you can visually see that tint is not completely stuck around that region.. And tmanana is right, people can't tell unless they are really looking... From about 4 feet away mine looks great.
