Cheap suspension upgrade...can I use Solara or other Toyota parts...struts/sways??

Newbie here...

I'm just looking to upgrade the Camry suspension on the cheap. Have no problem with used oem parts if they are significantly cheaper than aftermarket.

Does anyone know if Solara or Gen 4/5 Camry, even Avalon parts, will work on a Gen 3 Camry 4 cylinder?

I'm trying not to get the mod bug with this car, as I'm modding out my Miata, but the suspension seems a little tired, as I bottomed out bad the other day.

At the very least, I was hoping for a thicker rear sway from another car, or what's the cheapest and best rear sway and link to who sells please. The whitelines I priced out where around $130...are there better deals?

If I do get the bug, what's the cheapest aftermarket strut/spring recommendation?

Thanks!

PS - I'm also looking to where I could get some cheap BBS/mesh wheels? I've seen some cheapies that look decent enough with a Lexus looking "L" as the center cap. Checked online sites like PepBoys, Sears, and Autozone, but no luck...help. Looking for 14's.

ebay my man, u can do your struts and springs for aprox 550 bucks, all brand new tokico and eibach, totally worth it. or you could go for the cheaper dropzone lowering springs, but i'm not sure how they are for performance. any oem equipement that will fit your car will prolly be in pretty bad shape if its used, or not offer any real handling gains. if ur poor,(like me!) just collect the parts one by one until u have everything, then put it all in ur car, and save the loot by gettin a buddy to help you do it yourself. I'm sure any of the guys here, myself included will be willing to help talk you through it. oh yeah, and i think there's a guy on ebay right now that's selling stock alloys for a gen 3 camry in a 14, they're not mesh, but they're not steelies either and they're cheap.

Thanks for the reply Gaak! $550 bones is too large right now. It's a second car, and will be my daughters when she returns from college this summer.

I see alot of Solar and Gen 5 guys upgrading their rides...those have to be nearly new, assuming you get at least 50K out of an oem suspension. I'm just wondering if they fit.

I appreciate the help, and I'll definitely hit you up when I get the stuff.

God Bless!
