Kyb Stuts?

I am looking into a drop but i feel like the tokico struts are really high priced. I have heard good things about KYB. Does anyone have any experience with them? Would they make a good alternative or should i just spend the extra buck on the tokicos? Thanks.

my mechanic told me that KYB's are fine to use if you don't plan on lowering the car more than 2". I trust what he tells me, hasn't steered me wrong yet in the 9+ years I've used him. He's going to do my Tein's and KYB application.

i went through 3 sets of KYBs in 6 months on my honda. But that being said, i have a ton of friends that have never had an issue. Just not for me, gave me that bad taste in my mouth

Kyb Gs-2

I had these on my 2000 solara for one year with aggressive chicago driving. I had them with a 1.6'' drop from my Eibach springs. The back struts softened after a year and I did not like the experience any more, I then bought Tokico and they gave out even sooner. I'd say go with the KYB over the Tokico. I finally just a year ago put up the money and bought Tein SS coilovers. WOW is all I can say, they are SICK, if you have the money do it right the first time and just get coilovers.
