Y-pipe and Test pipe

Well after alot of measuring and calculatiing. It looks like the prototype for the Y-pipe and cat-less test pipe are almost done. I'll be without my Sol for most of this week. And this weekend i get to go out and play with it. I'm very VERY interested to feel what it did. I dont plan on getting to the Dyno until april, so i wont have the solid gains until then. Ill keep you guys posted. This is going to be a cheaper alternative to the JP Performance gear. The headers themselves flow fine, but if you guys have ever seen the y-pipe its pretty sad.

Take care

Marc

Did u fabricate the y-pipe yourself? I'm looking for a y-pipe but it's for a dual exh. after the axle. I don't know how much they'll charge at one of the local shops but i've been looking on the sites. I found a couple, not too expensive and not especially made for my car. It's a universal on and they have what ever pipe size your runnin'.

Changed my mind, going w/ a single exh. set up and fill in the driver side exh. port 'cause i don't like it.

keep us posted

and for the Canadians, ultimate performance in toronto has made to date (that we know of) 3 custom y-pipes for the 1mz

if you need a new y-pipe anyway, and are willing to shell out the big $$$, I'm sure you can ask them to make you one too

myself and ekam have them, and then we found out that dthepit has one too
