Solara JBL RCA output?

Coming from a 2001 V6 Accord sedan in Firepepper Red, I really love this car.

We got the SLE V6 version and are loving it. Thing is, I'd like to add a subwoofer and amp to our stock JBL system which is pretty decent sounding.

I was wondering if there is any RCA or line level outputs available on this JBL deck or do I have to use speaker level/tap into rear speaker for audio and turn on?

I am planning on adding a Sony 760w peak 2ch/1ch amp and Pioneer TS304C 300w RMS subwoofer which is a 12" sub in a sealed box.

Any help would be appreciated.

u are going to have to us a high to low converter, i suggest either the PAC Sni-15 or the American International LOC. I also see that you have a Sony XM1502SX, awesoem amp for the money. No more than an 8ga. is needed, you should feel that pretty well, let me know id there is anything else i can do to help you out.

Take Care,
Marc

Thanks WortownSolara. Wortown = Worcester, MA?

My Accord has two 12" Infinity reference subs and a sony 1000w monoblock.

So far I find Sony amps give good value though I really wonder how much more bass my speakers/subs could put out with another brand.

It's too bad our deck on Solara does not have RCA output or ability to make a molex/harness out of the rear of the radio deck to RCA.

The Sony amp has Speaker level inputs so I don't know if I'll need the American International LOC. I could be wrong though.

you dont need it. You could use the Hi to Lo on the Amp, but its also asking the amp to do another job, and we have found through the years that Seperate adapters tend to do a cleaner job with the transmission.

Let me know if i can help any more.

Take Care
Marc
