I'm wondering if anyone knows of a bodykit similar to the trd body kit for the solara. I know i've seen one but can't remember where. I think it was a 4 piece: 1 front end piece, 1 rear, and 2 sides.

The TRD kit is the only non-fiberglass kit available.

There are some fiberglass replicas available on Ebay, as well as a few R34 kits.

If you have gen 1, you have choice of Black widow (some call it spyder), R33, and vilside sytle. the vilside style is very rare that i only seen it once on ebay. There is also aeroduo but i am not sure if it is actually when into production.

Have you heard anything about the one offered by racedynamics.net? (fitment, finish, craftsmanship, etc.) It looks like the same thing as TRD but in fiberglass.

I remember people talking about a fiberglass kit and saying they had some trouble with it, and that it took some customization to get the fitments right.

Doesn't that go for just about any fiberglass kit in general?
A lot of my friends that mod cars have Hondas and Nissans and even when they buy brand name kits there is always a fitment issue to clear up gaps, etc.

trd polyurethane kit is the way to go!

the 4 piece lip kit mentioned at the start is by onderground designs (??) i believe and it looked nastay IMO...

Ric N Sov's Solara has the onderground kit...

i just say, if u gonna get a TRD Replica, might as well save money and get the REAL TRD KIT.

From my personal experience, the paint is TOUGH as hell, and I hit a block of ice before, and the plastic didn't break.

Order it direct from Molly (makers of the kit) and get it like $300 cheaper than buying from dealer.

Unfortunately, I believe Molly has discontinued its production. However, with slight modification, the Gen 1.5 kit can be made to fit a Gen 1 (if necessary). Like people have said, check the for sale section of solaraguy for more details

if anyones interested and in the bay area... i have my old silver trd kit sitting in the garage... its from a gen one solara... i hit the front corner so one of those pieces is missing... and the rear black unpainted panel is gone cuz i thought it was ugly and i think i threw it away... all the other pieces are fine.. if anyone wants to pick up im willing to sell it for 300...
has to be pick up tho.. i dont wanna ship this thing.. its a pain in the ass... selling because i bought an 04 se camry and have no use for it anymore...
