2005 Navigation removal instructions?

Does anyone have the time and inclination to provide instructions as to how to remove the navigation head unit on a 2005 Solara (convertible)? I plan to install an iPod adapter but don't want to break any trim in the process.

The following link provides the instructions for removing the Nav or radio unit in a Gen2 Solara.

I hope this helps. http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/PT54606...aliteRadio.pdf

Thanks Mike. That is really helpful. I must have missed it Googling. So, happen to know of a good substitute for the nylon removal tool (to save me a trip to the dealer)?

Try pepboys or some other auto store. They have some body panel screws, clips

and tools. If they don't have a bodyshop supply store in your area will have it.

I do not think the Toyota Dealer will have it in stock because they like to use screwdrivers to

ruin your body panels and trim. (sad but true)
