FRONT sway bar for Solara/gen4

Hey everyone, I have heard great things about the rear sway bar for solara, made by TRD or Whiteline.

I just heard that whiteline also had a front sway bar for Solara, does anyone have this on their Gen4 or solara ??

If so how has it helped preformance ?? ALSO I live in chicago and have to deal with driving in the snow, would having an after market front and rear sway bar really make it worse driving in the snow ie sliding out more ?

Thanks

installed whitelines this spring/summer so i don't know how it handles in the snow. I like to think that it has bailed me out in the rain and in the dry path of unseen roadkill due to better contact with the road. I think they are a must with lowering springs/struts (I have Eibach/Tokico) since they alone don't improve performance nearly as much as a completed suspension upgrade.

Also, the addition of my TRD front strut tower bar was completely necessary. Otherwise, I found the front to still plow pretty heavily. With 3 bars and springs/struts, there's only one word: go-kart.

On the other hand, it's been said that "your car will never be the same as it was stock". I find that to be extremely true with these suspension components as it is rattling the frickin bolts off my car. plus, nothing ever fits perfectly. ie: the endlink bolt points on the whiteline bars are thicker than the OEM bars. hence, when you put the lock nut back on the endlink ball bolt, it only engages half way. I recently had a banging noise from the right rear. I found that this nut had come loose and the bar was banging around on the endlink bolt. (PHI, I hope you're reading this coz you were kind enough to show concern! thnx bro) keep in mind that OEM parts were specifically designed to work as a system on the car. aftermarket parts may or may not work 100% with the system (perhaps TRD is exception).

Thanks for reading my rants! that's what happens when you don't visit for a month. you find a no-reply thread and write and write and write.

I can tell you that it is 100% true, thicker swaybars (especially the rear one) will make it easier to slide out in snow.

Trust me because it has happened to me before and it wasn't nice.
