I totally understand the concern regarding price, and it's something that's shared with a lot of people who have shown interest. The price is such due to the cost of production. The cutting/shaping of the aluminum, the drilling, polish, clearcoating, and brackets all cost quite a bit to do. The polishing alone is costing us $30/unit, just to give you an idea. I'm unable to do anything with the price at this moment, because it is not me who is selling the part. There may be sale in the future but there is nothing planned as of today. Thanks for your interest, and I hope I've been able to address some of the concerns you had.
Hey Steve! Don't know if I had a chance to welcome you to our forum yet. So, welcome!
I was wondering if you could get me a quote on a set of Kumho Ecsta Supra 712 tires... 205/55/16. I was told that they are more worth it for the price than Toyo Proxes T1-S even. Maybe you can comment on that too.
Thanks dude.

I gotta admit, that engine cover is definitely show material! That would definitely score a few extra points at any show, but its a shame i got the 1MZ-FE older gen with the large valve cover, similar to the 3VZ-FE one...
good job steve on getting one more aftermarket part for us Toyota guys
I would like one but I sold my car six months ago.

The cover will fit older 1MZ-FEs...but keep in mind...94-95 1MZ-FEs coil packs don't have a cover like the 96 and up 1MZ-FEs. The reason for this is that the 94-95 1MZ-FE's use 6 coilpacks where as the 96-01 1MZ use 3 coilpacks at the front, and the rear bank shares the coils by plug wires that feed the rear.
Its areal nice cover but for that price i can get alot of other stuff first..But maybe when im finished with that mods i can just add that for a final touch.

I've bought one and I swear, once I put it on, I'll be the shiznit like Steve. I think it looks sweet... I just can't wait to polish the rest of my engine bay.
