Well welcome to the board, I have a 2000 solara, fisrt thing I re-did was the sound system. But if you are looking for performance mods first, I would do the suspension.

I got the pro kit with a 1.6'' drop then at the same time also replaced the struts with KYB GS-2. I would get KYB or Tokico. If you can afford it go with the TRD sturts which are made by Blisten. Also to complete your suspension upgrade, look at adding a rear sway bar. I am putting one on this week and can't wait to feel the difference.

I wouldn't really do anything with your Intake, unless you just want the sound. From everything I have learned, you really won't get to much gain out of it unless you really go all the way ie (supercharger, headers, cat-back).

You could look into upgrading your brakes, that will probably be my next mod, re-do the rotors, brake pads and lines.

hope this helps, it's all about what you want from your car, and how much money you are willing or can shell into it.

Have fun !
