Hey everyone, I am gonna be buying a set of rims in the near future hopefully but I dont know what size to go with. Its between 15 & 16's does anyone have 15's on there Solara so I could see what they would look like? The reason I dont want to go real big is I dont have alot to spend on them, I have a family to suport wich is more important then rims. Thanks in advance everyone.

do the SE's only come with 15's? It's not that cool...you might as well keep what you got. Whats the whole reason why your doing this? IMO, just save the cash and get some 18's later on...aftermarket 15's with a huge donut tire looks silly. Or you could try finding some SE 15's. No complaint there.

Ok thanks for the info, yea my car has the 15's on it. Would 17's look good with low pro tires mounted on them? If anyone has pix of 17's or 18's on there Solara and has pix of it let me know. And if I do go with 18's will they fit on it without doing any mods to the suspension? Thanks in advance.

I have 17's, I wouldnt go any smaller, especially without lowering, as your fender gap will be huge and the car will look akward. If you dont have much money because you have a family to support, dont even bother spending that money on somthing you wont be fully happy with, just buy a dvd screen or somthin your kids might actually enjoy
Yea I think I am gonna go with 17's anybody know a website where they sell cheap rims? I have a family to support so I cant afford expensive ones but the stock rims are sooooo ugly. So rims is first then a body kit. Thanks in advance everyone.

I have 17's w/ lo pros and a lowered suspension also. Go to teamnexgen.net and in a couple of days there'll be some pics up under the "team" section.
One comment I'd like to make before you make a decision: In my opinion, cheap rims/tires are a bad idea. They're the only portion of your car that actually makes contact with the road and I just can't rationalize trying to scrimp in this area. I know how you feel, wanting to mod on a tight budget, but to be honest, and again in my opinion, you're better off saving and waiting until you can afford quality.

They are nice rims bro, probably way more then what I could come up with on short notice, I also like that body kit, what kind of body kit is it?? And how much did you pay? After getting rims for it I want to get a body kit and then I will move on to suspension does anybody think that I should go in that order? Thanks again everyone for all the help. I went out and bought the Haynes manual for my car too so that should help me out alot plus I have access to Mitchel on Demand @ my school wich is really nice. Thanks again everyone

I have the TRD kit with the ViS octane front bumper. Bought the trd kit used, so both costed me a total of ~$1000.
You should go with suspension first..other mods like a body kit wouldn't look right without the car being dropped.
I'm tryin to sell my rims with the tires for $450. Since ur from pa, we could meet up somewhere instead of shipping them.
Let me know. thanks.

That sounds like a good price, I am definatly intrested, let me figure out where I can get the money from, I will probably borrow it from my Bro-in-law so give me like a week to get it together. E-mail me @ WhiteTrash6100@aol.com What brand suspension should I go with that is not too expensive but is not crap either. One more question what is the diference between coil overs and springs? Are coil overs adjustable and springs are not?? I know stupid question but I am new to all this. Thanks in advance bro.
