P215/55R17 prices?

Hi Folks

Have a 2005 SLE Solara and noticed the prices on tires. (P215/55R17)
$165.00 to $230.00 a tire!
I have checked several sources and all the tires I have seen are generally all in the same price range.
Does anyone know of some good quality tires for a little cheaper?

Check out Fuzion HRi's. I got a set of 215/50R17's for $119 a piece. And I'm happy as hell with them... good traction, very diminished road noise, and I haven't noticed any decrease in ride quality.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

every tried using some yokohamas? been driving hard on my T4's and they've held up. Although my next set will be V or H rated for higher performance. They dont run in the hundreds per tire and they are surprisingly well made.

You may have heard of that brand if you pay attention to drift contests etc.

Yokahamas are good tires. They received good ratings for their performance tires in consumer reports. I'll check out the prices. Thanks

H rated is usually at 110 or 130 I forgot. But I believe you can get a set of Falken Ziex 512 All season High performance for 320-350 shipped. 215/50/17 go check it out.

Good Luck,
Calvin

yes...GO YOKO! i love them tires. Dont let the prices make u think they're bad, unreliable etc. If drifters rely on them, so can you.

i have a pair of yoko t4's on my camry and they're GREAT. I'll be getting a pair of H or V4's in a few K. So far...30K no problems. But just note, unless u get reagular touring tires, the treadwear isnt as long because they are performance tires. If u drive pretty normally with a light foot etc, you should expect 50K outta even their highest performing tires.
