Gen1 which coilovers to go with?

Ive been looking up coilovers recently and I have found JIC FLTA2's and FLT-A1US/ FLT-1US's. the later of the two are $1300 while the first of the two are $1880. Which would be the best setup for me? I am a high school student looking to lower my 99 Solara without sacrificing a smooth ride yet still getting that performance stance and ride. I might not have worded it correctly but I want a great handling car without feeling every bump in the road. I also put alot of miles on my car. Any help with this would be great. Thanks everybody.

Tein SS coilovers give the best ride. JIC's offer better performance.

And if you do want to go with JIC, Yukio now works there. Might be able to get you the hookup.

I hear the Tein is more comfortable and probably a little less maintenance.
