Exclamation new grille

Ok, so I tried making my own grille for the 99 and it looks like A$$. I need some help fellas. I want to have the entire grille and grille shell black to keep my car dark. I am wondering if there is anyone who makes any good looking grilles here or if someone has a great way to make one with what Ive got. Any suggestions? I really like the way white3ch0c0late's grille looks. Thanks for the help fellas. And right now I have a huge gaping whole where my old grille was, so the sooner I can get help, the faster I can stop looking like a broke redneck. Thanks again

Thats me with mine... the easiest way to do it is to soak it in paint thinner, then powerwash it. The chrome will flake off... then you can paint it with any plastic paint from Home Depot. Clear coat and you're good. If you want what I have, pm me and I'll get you in touch with the guy who did mine, at the shop that sponsors my team in Framingham, MA

Just a tip...if you paint and clear coat, sand it lightly with 1000 grit sand paper before you clear coat, then wet sand the clear coat with 1200 grit - LOTS OF WATER. To wet sand, soak plenty of 1200 grit paper over night.

And a tip for sanding, back up the crappy paper with a few strips of duct tape.

...and remember folks, while painting, always spray on light coats and wait at least 20 to 40 minutes before coats depending on humidity - if it's too humid for you, don't spray!
