I have my original speakers from my '98 LE. I just replaced them with new CDT Audio speakers, but they're still good.
I'm not sure if they'd fit, but I don't think there's much of a difference between a '98 and '99. Let me know if you'd like pictures.
Also, if you need a tutorial on getting the doors or rear desk off,
I made one when I put my speakers in.
