Question ??? on Injectors...

I'm new to this site so please bear with me.. I have a Toyota Tacoma 2rz 4cyl motor that I am turbo charging. I have the block bored 20 over and have (8.5 - 1) ARIAS pistons with the 4030 cromoly steel Pauter rods. I am Currently on the fuel issue... My stock injectors flow 282 cc's per minute and I plan to run 12-18 lbs. of boost. Will this be enough fuel flow if I get a walbro 190/lph High Pressure pump?? Any help on the fuel situation would be greatly appriciated. Also I have a APEXI S-AFC unit I am installing as well (I don't even know what the thing does, other than change the injector pulse) But I bet it will look prety cool!

That doesn't tell anything useful. First figure out what turbocharger you're using, then look that up on the compressor map in lbs of air / min. THEN you can see how much power you're going to roughly be making, and size injectors from there.

And no, 280cc injectors are definately NOT going to be enough fuel.

Injector size in cc / 5 = approximate horsepower
approximate horsepower * number of injectors.

280cc/5 = 56hp
56hp * 4 = 224hp
224hp * 90% duration (so the injector doesn't burn up) = 201hp

So just running a "standard" fuel pressure, those are good for a safe 200hp. You'll definately want to add a larger injector, or swap them out.

Cool

The SAFC doesn't change the injector pulse. It modifies (whatever your style of) air meter is. It fools the engine into thinking there is more, or less air entering the engine than there really is.

Indirectly having the ECU change injector duration.
