USA Hello all, let me introduce myself!

Hello, new to the board, OLD Toyota fan.

I have owned a

84 Celica GT
85 Supra
85 MR2
89 MR2
95 Celica GT
2002 Echo
2003 Echo

I currently own the 89 MR2, the 96 CELICA GT and the 2003 ECHO.

The MR2 is being restored, the Celica is as close as I can to keeping it mint. and the ECHO is the daly driver, and the newest, as I have had it up to this point for 2 weeks.

The 84 Celica gave way to a an 89 Dodge Daytona Shelby (big mistake) and the 85 Supra gave way to the 95 Celica I still have.

The 85 was bought to reduce the drive and milage on the celica and was driven every day until it exploded on the highway, blowing a chuck of engine block the size of my fist along with the biggest cloud of oil and water from the radiotor that I have ever seen !

SO along came the 89 MR2, and a Jspec enjine 2 months after I got it. It runs great, but rusting pretty badly around the rear wheel arches. I have it in my garage, with it's restored interior, (still looking for a radio to fit it) and leaking t-tops and all around in need of a good paint job.

The 2002 ECHO was wrecked and shredded by my wife when she fell asleep and drove into the back end of a parked semi truck. The 2003 was an insurance replacement, less 2K, I wish I would have know about GAP insurance!!

i'm 35, mechanically inclined, do most of my own car work, except when its cheaper to let someone else do it for me. I'm an EEE, so electical circuits are my thing. I love to trouble shoot electrical problems and find results to inquirys and tests. I suppose I'm a big geek. And I use the term with authority, cause I currently weigh about 300 lbs! So I am indeed, a BIG GEEK!

I look forward to helping others as well as getting help on this forum.

Thanks for reading.
