i have a 1990 geo prizm gsi with 155k its my first car and ive had it for just over a month. its a 5spd and im already having problems with shifting into second. and im thinking its the syncros cause when i put it into second it clunks twice and then it is finaly in second. is this a sign of bad syncros? i also just had the gear oil changed and now it feels really loose is this also a bad sign for a transmission? thanx in advance.

Welcome! My first Toyota (kinda) was a 1992 Geo Prizm. I had the lovely 4afe in mine. What motor does yours have? The 4age right?

Sounds like your syncros are shot. Luckily your tranny is SO uber common! Any 88-97 Corolla one will work (I think!)
