Howdy-do!
Hi there! I am Eli from Pullman, WA. Until recently, my primary (and only) vehicle was a 1949 Dodge pickup. Since my new job required a 45 mile commute, I decided that I needed to find something capable of speeds above 50mph, and got better than 13mpg. The only light truck that I could find that was as reliable and useful as the old Dodge was my 1990 Toyota pickup. I chose the '90 because the price and condition were excellent, and since this is a bare-bones model with carburetor, 4-speed, and zero power accessories, I figured I could conduct repairs myself... on the rare chance that something breaks. My wife drives a '98 Toyota Camry, which aside from being extremely boring in appearance, is the perfect car for us. To round out the Toyota fleet, I may someday lay claim to my dad's 1971 Toyota Hilux which has recently been retired after 30+ years of hard service. I'm looking forward to talking with you all!
