Kia ora to one & all,
Im from New Zealand (Aotearoa) and I have just purchased an 82 starlet s/w. Im unsure how common these are around the rest of the world, but these are really RARE in NZ, in fact I am 28
yrsold & I have never seen another starlet s/w before!!!

The wagon comes with a stoke 4k which I am considering converting to a 4agZe. I will be sure to keep you informed to all those interested. (I may need to use your experiences!!!)

PICS PICS PICS!!!

I have seen hatch back Starlets, however here in the states they are only FWD. Is yours AWD by chance?

And your in the right direction on the engine swap

the starlet is a RWD...so was considering a 13b or 20b cosmo engine converison instead of the 4agze. It depends on which is easiest to convert.

Just to give you an idea of the shape... its kinda like an 84 corolla s/w but with an 82 starlet nose cone. Weird...yes, Primo...hell yeah.

I have a Starlet in the states, and it's RWD... it's a hatchback though... I have yet to see a Startlet wagon!
