Hi All,

I recently owned a 2004 Explorer (exploder). Only 20000 miles on the Explorer and on my third diffferential and 2 transmission non solved problems.
The dealer somewhat fixed it.
I got sick and tired of it and traded it in for 2005 4Runner sport v8.
What a difference in performance and ride quality. The V8 is awsome!!! kick back and head snapping acceleration. The ride is sooooo quiet and smooth as compared to the Explorer. I am very happy going to the Toyota.
The technology in the 4runner greatly surpasses the Ford. The interior is much more comfortable the the Ford.

The 4runner sport is a great SUV and for the same money as the Ford.
