Australia Lexus V8 celica from Oz

G'day,
I've been playing with Toyota's for quite some time now starting with a Turbo 18RG powered RA23 followed by a 3SGTE powered TA22 (271rwkw), a 210kw at the wheels Carlos Sainz GT4 and my current ride a twin turbo lexus V8 powered Carlos Sainz GT4 or the GT8 as i like to call it. All home built with the help of mates with the emphasis on all round performance and look as tidy as a daily driver can.

Anyways, here to see what's what for a while.

You can see the thing in action here

http://www.4gcelica.net/gt8.avi

Not a big dollar proj by any means as fully completed by myself with the help of some mates. Not to say it's not extremely well engineered as is fully street registered.

Currently 430hp at the treads on a mild 13psi. A demon at the circuit and still good for mid 11s down the 1/4 in circuit trim on my daily driver rubber. Hoping for 10s with some MT Strett ET rubber on the rear.

No plans really for more hp at this stage, just a few small refinements.

I'll sort some links to better tech info and some pics on Monday

Hey SMT,
Thanks for that...saved me struggling with a slow arse dial up :-) Nice selection of pics...i'll have to get you some shots from Wakefield Park.

No way i can get 15's over the brakes on the rear unfortunately...i have a set of 16's coming though in 255x50. Mounted on a pair on Enkei's i got specifically for drags

Holy crap, that FMIC is huge!

Edit: Did you also do a RHD conversion?

The FMIC is 600x300x100....does the job but i would live to have the same size in tube and fin....less weight and better flow.

Yup, aussies drive on the left....side of the road.......what's your point?
