Turbo installation

Hi All,

I have a Toyota Hilux 1997 xtra cab with a 3L Diesel engine. I have just obtained a 2L EFI turbo and want to fit it to a new 3L that I am rebuilding. I think it came out of a Toyota Surf.

What I need to know is, do I have to connect up all of the vacuum lines on the intake manifold to make this work. From what I have heard these are only high and low pressure indicators. I have tried to find out some info on installing one of these with no success, can anyone help or steer me in the right direction for any info.
