Newby-Output shaft seal problem

My name is David and I am newby. I purschased a '87 Celica Convertible with 82K miles on it, but had a nice hole behind the #1 cylinder. Otherwise, the car is in pretty nice shape. I managed to purchase a low mileage import engine and switch it out (transferring everything down to the block). I also found and repaired several wiring harness issues. The car started right up and drove great, but the passenger side output shaft out of the differintial is leaking (automatic tranny-yuk!). I tore the thing down again, taking both shafts out to get to the seal. I removed the old seal, but putting the new seal in is kicking my butt!! Anyone out there that could offer some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks....David
