I currently own a 91 extend cab 2wd 22re. Used to own 1988 22r 2wd 4spd, 1988 22re 2wd auto, 1999 taco 4cyl 4wd.......i got ride of the taco because i just didn't like all the new crap.....it was a great truck and 4wd, but just not what i was looking for....i am now in search of a 78 - 83 maybe 84 4wd 22r.....i want to do my first full restore....and have always wanted it to be one of these years...my old man had an 83 when i was a kid i that was the point i new that i would only ever own toyota truckssss....that thing kid ass....

I have a 83 toyota 4x4 22r 5speed with power steering that I am thinking about selling , It runs good, not sure how many miles are on it the speedo stopped at 149,000 miles, I can tell you though that the engine in it now has 90,000 miles on it & has a new Toyota OEM clutch, pressure plate & throw out bearing. Has new front calibers, rotors, lines & pads. Exhaust was replaced last year. Radiator also replaced with a modine radiator, Their one of the best OEM radiators you can get.Lots of other new parts have be installed I just thought I'd mention a few. The truck mechanically is in good cond. The body on the cab is good , Everything is chrome & NEW in the front such as grill, bumper, light assemblys, push bar. Now the Bad The frame has been repaired though not a crappy job, a good job. The bed also is not the best , it has bondo in it . The interior is in good cond. I can send you pics if you like , But remember the wheels & tires do not go with the truck , I have about $1200. in them & am keeping them for maybe another toyota or my 4runner.
