Gen X?

I see people referring to their Camry's as GEN3, GEN4, etc. How do I tell what generation Camry I have. It's a 2006 LE.

This should give you all the information you want as far as waht generation your Camry is. Technically it is a 5.5.

They go through a mild makeover mid way through their lifespan. This usually happens in the third year of production or so. THe mid model mokeover gets the .5 designation. SO either way you can call it a gen 5 or 5.5. They also normally go through a five year production run. Normally the new model would be introduced in Sept. of the current year. But Toyota is wanting to keep their number one postion with the Camry so it is supposed to be released some time int he Spring next eyar as an 07 model instead of in the Fall when they would normally introduce them. There is a thread in the news section about the new Cmary if you have not seen it yet and would like info on it. Just look in there for a thread titled 2007 Cmary pictures.

not a problem at all. Just so you know next time you may want to post questions like this in the Camry forum so it will get answered quicker. NOt a lot of people reply to the new members or check it I dont think because there are so many new members every day. Also at the top of the camry forum there are a couple of stickies that will give you a lot of information without having to ask or search. Enjoy your time on TN.
