Cool 2005 4X4 Toy

KY Female owner of a 2005 Limited Tundra 4X4. This is the sweetest ride, I only have 10K on my sweet baby and I Love the response and power and pretty too. I will never own another car again. This is my second Toy pickup and all I can say is I wish all my autos had been A Toyota Truck. I had a Matrix it was nice but I rather have a pickup than a car. The one really cool feature that just makes me giggle - the back window, it goes up and down, so clever!! I am having an Auto Remote Start installed. I get pretty good gas mileage with the Iforce and I use 98 octane gas ( here in Jefferson County KY we have to use Reformulated petroleum,) . What does other drivers of the 2005 Tundra use? I would like to know. Have a great day! Drive with care!!!

USA Hey I'm From Prp

KYTEL, I just wanted to say hello to another KY person. I live in the PRP area and drive a 1996 Tacoma x-cab and absolutely love it.
As far as what grade of gas to use in your Tundra from what I understand 87 octaine or higher will work just fine. If it were me what I might recommend is to try all three grades of gas that is available locally and see which one the truck performs better with. Check your mileage with each one and if the truck runs the same and gets about the same mileage then I would use the cheapest of the three which would be 87 octaine, if not use the octaine that works best for you. I would also highly recommend that when you do the test make sure you buy the gas from the same station. I can't stand the reformulated gas that we have to use in Jefferson County it absolutely sucks, my Avalon gets about 5 more miles to the gallon when I buy gas out of town, as far as my Tacoma I really don't know because when I travel I usually drive the Avy.
Good luck with the gas thing and let me know how it goes.
