Cooee fellow MR2 owners of the world. I have just purchased a 1990 non aspirated MK2 in Australia and I’m very happy with the vehicle. I can’t find an Owners Manual specifically for my vehicle but I do have a copy of the Big Green Book.
Just yesterday the car began running rough. Not really rough but once it heats to normal running temperature there is the occasional miss. Whilst driving there is also an occasional lag before accelerating. I have checked the leads and plugs and replaced the air-filter just in case. The problem still persists. My next idea was to remove and check vacuum hoses as suggested in the BGB.
Am I on the right track here or can anyone offer me any other suggestions.
