Just traded in my '97 Maxima GXE for a Desert Sand Mica '06 Corolla LE w/ABS, moonroof, all weather package and 6-speaker/disc stereo. Thought it would be difficult to lose 60 some horsepower but I'm loving cheap fill-ups and great MPG. Glad I made the switch and sharing future mods!

Hmmm Maximas are good cars and sure you took a horsepower loss but c'mon man, YOUR DRIVING A TOYOTA NOW ! ! ! So you looking into some mods and if so what kind?Something passive or extreme.

Maximas are good if you are willing to spend $$$$ after 100K to maintain them ($3500 worth of crap wore out between 105-120K plus couple other things I didn't bother with).

Mechanically, probably not looking for more than a CAI. It's an LE and I'm not gonna try to make it XRS fast. But maybe a Camry XLE leather/chrome shifter and custom leather wrapped steering wheel.

I'm not sure what all just yet but I'm sure my cardomain page will be updated.
