Paseo won't start!

Hi all. I'm new here and I'm new to the Paseo - I got mine ('96 and standard) about six weeks and was loving it until this morning... Seems like the battery is dead (engine turned once then nothing except a fast ticking noise which I've not heard before in other cars with dead batteries... Should I be worried??). I haven't driven it for two weeks and the last two journeys I made were less than twenty minutes. I really hope it's nothing more than a dead battery. The reason I don't just charge it and see is that I don't know anyone round here with a car to jump it from and I only have roadside RAC cover.

On a different note - roughly how much will a full service cost me? Any advice on a good place to go in North/West London?

Welcome to the board and disassemble then properly clean your terminals with a wire brush. This should correct the problem.
